Beloved in Christ, it is a known fact that God designed us for greatness and success. He ordained that we should prosper in all our endeavors, and that our labor should yield abundant fruit. However, the reality is that there are forces—both spiritual and physical—that work tirelessly to frustrate the works of our hands, causing stagnation, setback, and failure. These are the powers that seek to waste our labor.

The Bible makes it clear that the enemy’s agenda is to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). He does not want you to prosper or see the fruits of your hard work. The Bible also teaches us that God has given us authority over all the works of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We have the power to bind, loose, and destroy any force that stands in the way of our progress.

As we come before God in prayer today, we declare that every power wasting our labor must die by fire! In the name of Jesus, every enemy of progress, every spirit of delay, stagnation, and frustration must bow to the power of God.
