DESTROYING EVIL HIDDEN STRUCTURES
So far, you have discovered how to come out of all kinds of satanic bondage. Yet, there is still a lot more to learn. I want you to confess aloud to yourself:
I must be victorious henceforth, in the name of Jesus.
A lot of things happen to Christians that are abnormal in the light of the Scriptures. It is shocking that a lot of things that are supposed to be found in the camp of the ungodly are also common among those who claim to love the Lord. It is normal to expect unbelievers to suffer all kinds of captivities, because they are regular customers in the satanic market. No matter how rich, intelligent, smart, hardworking and talented they may be, as long as they are not children of God, they constitute mince meat for the devil.
As I sit back and meditate upon my experiences in the ministry over the Years I am shocked, by certain abnormal experiences which I have come across concerning so-called Christians. I don’t understand what is going on. It is simply abnormal.
There are certain evil hidden structures which many of us are not aware of at all. Some people are aware of the presence of these structures but fall to do anything about it. It is unwise for one to come to God and continue to deceive oneself. The spirit of deception and the spirit of pride are twin sisters.
There are Christians who have continued to go about with their problems instead of owning them up and addressing them as they are. The day your problems would rise against you like a lion you will not know what to do. All the prophetic prayers and the positive confessions you have ever known cannot solve any problem.
I was invited to a meeting where I was asked to sit on the high table. I sat with renowned university professors, managing directors of banks, commissioners of Police and other very important personalities in the society. By human standards I was obviously the only ordinary person on that high table. However, I was the guest speaker.
As I closed my eyes to pray, the Lord gave me a revelation and an instruction. He revealed to me that among those who were sitting with me on the high table, were two homosexuals. The Lord told me to warn them that they should get away from the high table if they did not want to experience the wrath of God. I gave the warnings revealed to me and continued praying. Chairs were moved back and forth while I was praying. By the time I opened my eyes I discovered that some of the people on the high table had disappeared.
I was glad because they were sincere. I congratulated them for being honest to themselves. Some people would have stayed put. Why should you choose to remain on the high table when you know that God is pointing accusing fingers at you? So that you can retain honour in the sight of man instead of quietly leaving the seat of exaltation and join the masses where they are crying to God for mercy? The devil would have used the high table to destroy such people. The best service you can do to yourself is to decide to be honest to yourself at all times.
STUMBLING BLOCKS
He discovereth deep things out of darkness and bringeth out to light the shadow of death (Job l2:22).
This passage shows us there are certain things on the surface of the earth that only the hand of the Almighty can reach. Again, there are structures hidden in the ground which would remain stumbling blocks unless an action is taken. It does not matter how long you have been born again, the evil structure may be there in your life. That is why we hear the story of a 75-year old pastor caught raping an 15-year old girl. Tell me, of what use is his 50 years pastoral experience? Useless. Something was hiding in his life which only came out when it had the opportunity. All through the time when he was young, there was no scandal. But the evil hidden structure matured and became a full blown problem towards the end of his career.
Why don’t you close this book for a few minutes and take this important prayer point?
Oh Lord, dig deep into my life today, in the name of Jesus.
The Bible says,
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6).
I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall (Hosea 4:14).
Perhaps, you are busy commiting adultery while your business is going on smoothly. You may think you are smart. You are not. God has left you alone simply because he has grouped you, with harlots. If you truly belong to Him he would have dealt with you. In other words, God has given you over to a reprobate mind, to do the things that are not convenient. God has pushed you aside and has reserved your punishment for the last day. The word of God is very clear; Those who do not understand it shall surely fall.
Luke 8:17 says,
For nothing is secret that shall not be made manifest neither anything hid that shall not be known and come abroad.
This is an encouraging passage. It tells us that no matter how secret evil structures are, we have a wonderful Father who is able to bring them out. 1 John 5:19 also tells us,
And we know that we are of God and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
The world in which we live is indeed wicked.
Recently, I ministered in our branch in Abuja, Nigeria, and something unusual happened. The Lord gave me a strange word of knowledge just before the close of the service. I told the congregation: “There is a sister here who is married to a serpent. That serpent has been disturbing you. But as from tonight the snake is dead.” Incidentally there was a sister in that meeting who did not know that the weird of knowledge was for her, because she had never seen any snake before. She managed to claim the revelation by faith.
After the service she left for her home. She happened to live on the fourth floor of a high-rise building. Her flat was rugged from the staircase to every available space on the floor. There was no bush near her house since she lived in the residential quarters of extremely wealthy Nigerians. She didn’t even have a garden.
She opened the door of her flat and went in. Nobody was living with her. She put on the lights and went into her bedroom to pray. To her amazement she saw a figure on her bed trying to cover himself with her coverlet. She didn’t know what to do. She thought about running outside the house since she did not leave anyone at home. But something told her to move nearer the bed with boldness since she was coming from the church. She tiptoed towards the bed to catch the illegal occupant unawares. She moved nearer and discovered that whoever was covering himself or herself with her wrapper had succeeded in covering every part of the body. She moved very close
and forcefully removed the wrapper. What she saw shocked her beyond description.
On top of the bed was a huge python. However, it was dead. It was placing its head on her pillow. She alerted neighbours who had to help her to drag the dead snake away from the bed. It was such a fearful event. Some of her unbeliever neighbours packed away from the block of flats because of the python episode.
The woman was 39 at the time. That was the first time she realised that she had been involved in a strange marriage with a python. The whole thing was hidden from her. She had never even dreamt of seeing a snake for one day. The hidden evil structure was brought into the open and destroyed by God. Afterwards she was able to get married. Before then no man ever came close to her to say “I love you.”
Two occult members came to me for prayer. One of them spoke to me saying, “Man of God, please pray for me.” I wish I did not pray for him. In any case I did it was a short prayer; “Father, in the name of Jesus, lay Your hands upon Your son. Let the spirit of fire minister deliverance to his life, in the name of Jesus.”
Immediately I finished, there was pandemonium in my counselling office. Before the young man fell down he broke every chair in that place. I tried to hold him but I could not. He even broke some glass when he was manifesting demonic presence in his life. When he calmed down and became normal I told him that he would need to go for proper deliverance. He looked up at me and said “Why, did anything happen to me?” I told him how he had disorganised my office. I also told him to look at his dress. It was then he realised what had happened to him.
He left in the company of the second occult member. After a few minutes, they came back to me. The second man said, “Sir, my colleague whom you prayed for happens to be the secretary of the occult society while I am the president. I wonder what will happen to me if all that could happen to him when you prayed for him. Can you also pray for me”? Again I wish I did not pray for him. But I did.
Immediately I prayed for him, he ran out of my office like a mad man. Some of my office staff had to run after him to bring him back. When he came back to his senses, he asked me, “What happened to me?” It was hidden to him.
I also remember an incident which took place one night when I was a student. We took somebody who had an accident to a teaching hospital. At the entrance of the hospital I saw a strange sight. There was a woman who was stark naked. Looking at her hairdo she appeared like an elitist woman. So, I wondered why she was there and naked at that hour of the night I couldn’t stand the odd situation. I had to walk to her, looked up to her face and asked her what was wrong with her.
With tears in her eyes she spoke, “Why won’t I carry a sacrifice to the cross-roads? I got married in England, and my husband and were happily married for 17 years. Our problem started when we came back to Nigeria. My husband took two extra wives who have not allowed me a full day’s rest. Two of my three children are dead. My marriage has hit the rocks. I am almost suffering a mental break down. If carrying a sacrifice like this will solve my problem why won’t I try it.” Unknown to her, she was taking a step that would compound her problem because she had not discovered her hidden problems. There was also something in her life cooperating with the powers of darkness.
I will like you to take this prayer point:
Anything in me cooperating with darkness, come out now, in the name of Jesus.
THE MISSING INGREDIENT
A newly married lady narrated a strange story to me. She told me that immediately after her wedding, her in-laws called her into a family meeting and told her, “Do you say that you are a Christian? If you ever have a baby we shall abandon our idols and serve your God.” They were quite confident because there was something in that
lady which gave them a backing to challenge her. As servants of satan they knew her weak points. That was the only reason they could talk to her that way.
Close your eyes and take this prayer point.
Every satanic confidence against me, be shattered to pleces, in the name of Jesus.
A lot of deliverance ministers are missing out on some vital areas of deliverance. The most important point missed out is the breaking open of hidden evil structures. The presence of these hidden evil structures is the reason the deliverance of so many people are not complete. That is why there are people who have gone through deliverance more than ten times and have not yet been fully delivered.
The only solution to the problem is to expose and destroy evil hidden structures. When these structures are brought to the surface then deep deliverance begins.
Recently, I was praying for a sister. I was surprised when the Lord told me, “You have a lot more work to do. There are at least 14 witches in her family. Each of them has taken her name to their different covens.” She was a young girl of 23. I wondered what she did to offend them. Who knows? Maybe they had seen her future.
There are young people like her today who want to live careless lives not knowing that they are already surrounded by witches who are ready to destroy them.
A boy and a fairly old woman came to see me. They sat down in my office looking at my face. I told them to talk. They looked at each other and they couldn’t say a word. Then the boy tried to say something. “This is mummy,” he stammered and stopped.
I looked at both of them and told them to speak up. The woman tried to say something: “Pastor, . . . but how do we talk about this?” Then she stopped. Her son tried to speak again, saying: “This is my mother . . . She is pregnant . . . .” Again, he couldn’t continue.
To cut the rang story short, I was listening to a story which bordered on abomination. The young boy had made his mother pregnant. I looked up and down and did not know what to do. If you were to tell such people to go and abort you would be violating the word of God which condemns abortion. Even if you would tell them to go for deliverance, the evil deed had been done. The bottom line was that there was an evil hidden structure in the lives of both of them. It came into the open only in a scandalous manner.
The missing ingredient in most places where deliverance is carried out is the non-destruction of evil hidden structures. The Bible has left no one in the dark. It says that the corruption of the world system will wax worse and worse, and that in the last days evil will abound more than in any other period of human history, because an innumerable company of evil spirits are fighting against every segment of life on earth. Thus, they are exerting perverting and destructive influence on mankind. They are affecting human behaviour negatively. They are also working on the emotions of billions of their victims all over the world. Their mission is to steal, to kill and to destroy.
Unfortunately, man’s monumental ignorance about them makes their operations easy. It makes them to carry cut their mission successfully. They have gone so deep into the lives of some white men that they openly declare that there is no God and there is no devil.
THE PRESCRIPTION
Wherever there is no resistance against and expulsion of these hidden structures, they will cause internal destruction. God has declared that we are His temples. Unfortunately, the devil has erected a lot of evil hidden structures in the temples that are meant for God. When the temple of God is loaded with evil structures there is nothing any man can do to repair it unless the hidden structures are dealt with.
Strangers have taken over the temples in many people’s lives today. These strangers will allow you to worship God as long as you
grant them the opportunity to erect their hidden structures. But to allow evil hidden structures is to destroy the temple of your life.
How then can we discover, dismantle and totally destroy evil hidden structures? What steps must we take to get rid of these structures? What prescriptions must we follow?
- Decide in your spirit that you do not want to have anything to do with darkness.
You must take a personal decision today. Make up your mind that as long as you are alive you will never tolerate evil structures. Tell yourself: “I don’t want any evil structure in my territory. I don’t want to be a blind witch. I don’t want anything in my life to cooperate with powers of darkness”. Make your decision clear, strong, firm and irrevocable.
2. Hate the world of darkness with perfect hatred.
Don’t compromise with the kingdom of darkness. Be averse to whatever represents the operations of darkness. The day God really opens your eyes to the level of wickedness which is perpetrated by the kingdom of darkness, you will hate the kingdom and its operations with perfect hatred. You must realise that you can exercise your legal rights over your life and property. You must not allow anything which you find unacceptable to you. Deal with powers of darkness the way tough landlords deal with unwanted tenants.
If a landlord finds a tenant undesirable, he goes the whole hog to eject him or her. If he tells the tenant to quit and the tenant refuses to comply, the landlord will take every conceivable step to get rid of the tenant and reclaim his property. There are landlords who would go as far as cutting power supply, removing doors and the roof and employing social miscreants to constitute some nuisance with the purpose of forcibly ejecting the tenant. There is no way the tenant will decide to continue to stay in a house without electricity, doors and the roof. That is how far human beings can go in registering their displeasure for tenants whom they have decided to eject.
In the same vein, you are expected to make your life and property uncomfortable for illegal satanic occupants. If you give them quit notice and they begin to drag their feet, you can render your life uncomfortable for their habitation. Demons would only remain in cosy, comfortable and suitable environment for their habitation and operation. It is therefore your responsibility to take every step that will get rid of them. If those steps are taken, they won’t be able to stay. To make evil spirits comfortable in one’s life is to encourage them to increase and multiply.
- Ask the Lord to bring to the open all areas of darkness in your life.
That is one of the most crucial prayers which you must pray. It is not simple to bring hidden things into the open. It is not the kind of prayer you can pray in a split second. If something had been hidden in your life for 20 years or more, can you bring it out into the open in one minute? If an evil structure had been 30 years in a building can you dismantle it with a snapshot prayer? The builders took their time, carefully assembling the wicked structures, you cannot dismantle it through wishful thinking or by flat. You must equally take your time in prayer to thoroughly bulldoze the structures and clear off the debris. That would surely take more than 30 minutes or an hour.
Prayers that border on bringing hidden evil structures into the open and destroying them might take you two hours, three hours, one day or even one week, depending on the kind of structures you are dealing with. Who knows? You may even have to resort to the use of two or three days prolonged fasting. It might even take you seven days continuous dry fasting.
Consider a man whose name, Ogunbiyi, means the god of iron has given birth to this one, or a man whose name is Farounbi, which means the Ifa oracle has really found a child. If these two people have answered such names for 40 years, you can be sure that Some lofty evil structures have been built in their lives.
Demon idols are very meticulous. If you put them in charge of the life of a man, they won’t take chances. They would really perform
their duties. Call a child by a name that is attached to an idol, the idol would continually abide with the child; and there is always a price to pay. If you employ a security man and instruct him to guard your house, you have to pay him regular salaries. Idols would surely protect those who are called by their names in their own way but they would also collect fantastic salaries. These salaries could be in the form of topsy-turvy conditions of life, poverty, mysterious sicknesses, calamity; permanent failure and other things which are highly undesirable.
The policy of guardian idols is that you cannot eat your cake and have it. Once you give them assignments, you must be ready to pay the dues. And remember that satan does not accept peanuts. He would require from you a kind of salary which you can only pay with your dear life. If your name suggests that a demon idol has something to do with your birth or naming ceremony, you cannot just claim your deliverance by faith. You must be ready to do a thorough job.
To bring some evil hidden structures to the surface, some people would have to combine their prayer with serious fasting. There are some areas you will never discover until the combination of prolonged prayer and fasting makes the strangers to tremble and fade away from their hiding places. Deep deliverance comes only when you seek freedom desperately.
Some wicked spirits would remain in hiding until they are violently exposed. It takes persistent determination and violence to expose and destroy satanic strongholds. You must learn to press in on wicked spirits until they become uncomfortable and take to their heels. Do not wait for feelings before waging war on illegal satanic occupants.
Follow these principles and fight. If they are present in your life, they would be exposed and expelled. Even if they are not there, you have not wasted your efforts, you would have learnt some lessons through your prayer efforts.
Many people are waiting for some serious manifestation of problems before praying against evil hidden structures. You must remember that the structures are most of the time hidden. We sometimes deceive ourselves by thinking that the devil is stupid. Do you think that the devil will build a gigantic evil structure in somebody’s life and come to the open to announce it? One of the most important strategies which the devil uses is to keep most of his wicked acts secret
A woman came for counselling because her marriage had hit the rocks. She was bothered by the fact that her husband was no longer coming to sleep in their matrimonial home. I simply gave her one prayer point; “Oh Lord, show me the secret behind this problem, in the name of Jesus.” She handled the prayer point with all her strength.
She had an unusual dream. She saw herself in a strange environment where she was standing with a giant man on the right hand and a pigmy on the left side. Both of them were dragging her, calling her “Darling.” The spirit of the Lord then told her that she’s married to two husbands in the spirit world and that as long as those marriages are in place, she won’t be able to experience a stable home. Until she handled that prayer, the structures were hidden. She was blaming her husband while the real problem remained hidden.
- Seek the face of the Lord for deeper revelation concerning His plan for your life.
Stop being casual about your relationship with God. Give yourself to fasting and prayer, asking him to reveal secret things unto you. I thank God for those who know how to receive deeper revelation from God. When such people want to sleep, they tell the Lord “Oh Lord I’m going to bed now. If you decide to speak to me, don’t talk in parables. Speak to me face to face, in Jesus name. Amen.” Such people always receive what they ask for. Those who refuse to pray in that manner always have complex and long winding meaningless dreams. They wake up and begin to look for people to help them with the interpretation. What you ask God is what you get. If you tell the
Lord, “Oh Lord, give me a deeper revelation concerning all the problems of my life. Expose to me all the hidden and deep things which are in my life.” He will do exactly that. The Lord will show you the genesis of the hidden evil structures as well as the sins which have consolidated the structures.
Hidden structures have no respect for anyone. Unless you carry out these instructions, you might continue to remain in bondage. Even if you are a pastor, you are not exempted from carrying out these instructions. You might even be the general overseer of your church, if evil structures are present in your life, you will never know what it means to be totally free.
I have been shocked a lot of times when I hear a lot of strange things which many people who are assumed to be holy do. We sometimes elevate some respected Christian leaders above measure only to be shocked by some outrageous things they do. Some people hide under the title of “man of God” to do unprintable things in the secret.
A pastor went to his friend and told him, “I just want to inform you that I have decided to ask my wife to pack away from the home. Although I have been married to her for so many years, the Holy Spirit has asked me to send her packing. Don’t ask me any question, I know that I came to you years ago to tell you that God told me to marry her. Now I am also telling you that the Holy Spirit said she should pack.” Isn’t that strange? There was an evil hidden structure underneath his pastoral collar.
5. Enter into spiritual warfare against these evil activities. How can that be done?
- Bind the spirits often. Tell them that their days are numbered.
- Don’t allow them to intimidate you. Intimidate them.
- Speak the truth of God’s word against them directly.
For example, if fear happens to be the stronghold in your life, you can speak against it saying, “Fear, you have nothing to do in my life because it is written. “God has not given me the spirit of fear but of love, power and of a sound mind.”
. Plead the promises and the word of God upon your life.
- Do a lot of praise and worship. Evil spirits detest praise and worship. It is odious to them. Regardless of your feelings, sing praises to God.
- Engage in purposeful fasting. Make sure that you fast at least one day in a week. You cannot fight the battles of life and experience victory without having a prayer and fasting day within the week.
- Keep your life in the light. Have nothing to do with darkness. Do not do anything that will bring bondage into your life. Any sin that is allowed in your life will also invite darkness into your life. If you want to experience permanent deliverance, you must make up your mind to stay free from sin. Fight aggressively to maintain your freedom.
Let me invite you at this point to a very practical session. Make the following confessions of faith:
Any spirit which is not the spirit of God, hiding in any department of my life, hear the word of the Lord: I want you to know that I am a child of the living God. I am working for the Lord. You can no longer dwell within my house. The Lord has entered into my life. Therefore, you cannot stay. His Holy brightness blinds you with its light. His gentle voice offends your evil ear. His presence drives you far away. Now, get out! You must never return into my life. I plead the blood of Jesus. Go out, in the name of Jesus.
PRAYER POINTS
- Anything in my life cooperating with witchcraft, go out now, in the name of Jesus.
- Anything hidden in my life from the kingdom of darkness go out now, in the name of Jesus.
- Every deep work of darkness operating in my life, loose your hold, in the name of Jesus.
- Every unconscious darkness, release me, in the name of Jesus.
