Sickness is one of the many challenges that believers face in their journey with God. However, the Bible assures us that God is our healer and that He desires to see us live in health and wholeness. Jesus Christ, through His sacrifice on the cross, paid the price for our healing, both physically and spiritually. The Word of God tells us in Isaiah 53:5 that “by His stripes we are healed.” The devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, including afflicting us with sickness and diseases, but Jesus came to give us life and life abundantly (John 10:10).
As children of God, we are not to accept sickness as part of our inheritance in Christ. Instead, we must actively resist and destroy every yoke of sickness through the power in the name of Jesus Christ. God’s Word is a sword, and we must wield it against the enemy with authority. It is time to rise up in faith and declare that the yokes of sickness in our lives are broken!
