Exhortation: Breaking the Chains of Infirmity

In the life of a believer, it is important to understand that infirmity, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, is not part of God’s divine plan. Jesus Christ, through His suffering, death, and resurrection, has provided freedom from every form of bondage, including infirmity. As believers, we must recognize that we are not subject to the power of sickness, disease, or affliction. God’s word assures us that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Infirmities can sometimes stem from spiritual issues, generational curses, or demonic oppression. It is crucial to pray with authority, to break the chains of infirmity in your life, knowing that God has given us the power to overcome every work of the enemy. The Bible says in Matthew 18:18, “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

As you engage in prayer, declare your freedom in Christ, stand firm on God’s promises, and trust in His power to break every chain of infirmity. The power of prayer, especially when it is fervent and effective, brings deliverance. The Holy Spirit empowers you to overcome every sickness or affliction standing against your life.
